CAFÉ SERIES 18: Anya Café

The modern british café you should add now to your list of favourite coffee shops!

With all the café hopping I have done, I have already established a standard of what kind of coffee shop I’d like to keep visiting or if it’s only a one time visit. Those that I have featured here are definitely one for the books and I have visited multiple times already. The standard? The mocha! Not unless if it’s a specialty coffee, a matcha café for example (like my previous post), it would definitely be how good their mocha is. I love my mocha just how I love me with some matcha. It is only a bonus if the interior is aesthetic but never the basis. I have had a really good cup of mocha recently at Anya Café.

Anya Café is inspired by the British Café of old but reimagined with the finest ingredients, and of course some of Anya Hindmarch’s trademark humour. Serving breakfast, coffee, lunch, tea and early evening drinks, it’s a lovely spot to have a cup of your morning coffee or some afternoon tea. The cafe also offers a selection of specially created Anya Hindmarch cakes and biscuits, designed to eat in or be taken away as gifts in beautiful boxes.

Anya Café is located in the heart of Anya Hindmarch The Village in Pont St.

Their cute desserts on display would definitely grab your attention immediately.

The interior is very classic british but also very minimal. Such a cozy place to relax from a busy day.

You would really love the humour inserted in each dessert.

During my last visit, I popped by for some brunch catch up with a friend. They serve all day toasts which is something I’m positive about, so we got Cheddar Cheese Toastie which was really nice. We also got a few desserts. Who wouldn’t be teased when they all looked so delectable, and playful as well? We got ourselves the signature Chubby Heart which Anya is known for, it is a chocolate mousse with raspberry compote; the Frosted Raspberry Caterpillar Tart which are fresh raspberries with vanilla custard on a buttery shortbread base; and the Chocolate Monster Cake, it’s a moist cake with chocolate and hazelnut buttercream. My favourite from all 3 desserts would be the Chubby Heart, the mousse had the right texture and the chocolate isn’t too overpowering. Lastly, the reason I fell in love with Anya, their cup of mocha for me and my friend.

The Village is Anya’s, the founder, dream come true. It is a little village of stores opened to house creative ideas and will be an evolving place to showcase lovely collaborations and creativity.

It was my first time at The Village and I was really amazed by the creativity showcased here. Above all, Anya Café is definitely one of my favourite Cafés in London now and would be frequenting it here for sure.

Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
