Your haven in the heart of the city!
Singapore would definitely be one of my favourite countries in Southeast Asia. Traces of my roots and of my family’s heritage come from this country, making me enjoy my visits to the country before even more. I have visited the country multiple times in the past during this time of the year, around the months April to July but have never come back for almost 4 years now. I am starting to miss it which is why I was encouraged to actually celebrate my birthday last month somewhere that would remind me of the country, it is none other than at Pan Pacific London.
Pan Pacific London is a haven in the heart of the city. It is a home to 237 bedrooms with 42 suites. It showcases Singaporean-style dining at their in house restaurants. Epitomising the juxtaposition of old and new London architecture, Bishopsgate Plaza encapsulates a 43-storey bronze tower. The hotel sits squarely at the intersection of commerce, history, culture, and travel, yet also home to its own inner world. As a pet-loving hotel, your 4-legged friends are welcome here!
Pan Pacific is located moments from Liverpool Street Station, close to transportation hubs, iconic landmarks including the beloved Gherkin and the historic Tower Bridge.

Once you step in, the luxurious interior would immediately catch your attention. I love how sleek and modern the hotel feels.

We were lucky to be offered a beautiful room, high enough to see the wonderful London skyline.

My friends and I stayed at a Premiere Double Double Room which was surprisingly very spacious.

This room featured two double beds, a separate toilet and walk-in shower, definitely ideal for families or friends looking to spend quality time together in the heart of London. Such an oasis!
They also have Diptyque luxury bathroom amenities which we surely enjoyed as this is one of my favourite scent brands!

A place in the hotel we made sure to visit was the Wellbeing Floor. Equipped with a gym, steam and sauna rooms, even treatments rooms.

We had a lovely time using the infinity pool with a panoramic view of Bishopsgate Plaza.
After all that swimming, hunger striked and gladly, they have 24 hour room service. This Hainanese Chicken Rice gave me a different kind of nostalgia.

As said earlier, Pan Pacific London is the house of 4 dining destinations but the place we chose to be at was The Orchid Lounge, a timeless elegant living room serving afternoon tea by Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden. Their latest feature for their afternoon tea is the Superbloom. It is an afternoon tea with a royal makeover, inspired by the wildflower Superbloom, an installation seen near Tower Bridge. You can also have the Singapore inspired, Kopi Tiam. Talk about bao, dim sum and choux. It’s a unique flair of Asian flavours to the traditional British afternoon tea.
Spending my birthday at Pan Pacific London with my closest friends was definitely a great decision. It was like I jumped to Singapore while still being at the heart of London. The hotel itself is a wonderful oasis where you can relax and have a great time. Totally recommending a staycation at this lovely place. The service was impeccable as well. Even from when I made my reservation, with the team granting all my little requests, to my actual stay, everything was very commendable! I had an amazing experience and looking forward to going back soon!
Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
