Time is truly fleeting, we’re now in mid 2026!
Time has been extremely quick recently for me. 6 months have officially passed into 2026, wasn’t quite ready for it.
2026 was a year I had hoped to come in quickly but I am also not ready to go that fast. This is the year I have decided to choose myself. I have always been in denial and always thought that I can always turn things around my way. But then, this year, I realized the hard way that it isn’t always like that. There are things I can’t control, in which I learned to let go. I used to give my all, always going the extra mile everytime, then get disappointed when these are not reciprocated, it took me a while to learn to manage my expectations. Life happens, things change. There will always be hurdles and bumps, but it is always worth celebrating the little wins. Things may not go your way now, yet, it is going to be okay. Everyone’s pace is different. Once you start moving forward, everything will make sense, each uncertainty you have faced. Everything will be okay, someday.
This year started with definite plans which eventually got vague due to external factors no one could control, but currently working on getting things back on track. I sustained an injury which messed up with my mental health, lucky to be surrounded with beautiful people and an amazing support system, who helped me cope. I just recently got back from a holiday which I didn’t think was actually needed. It truly helped me unwind and take a breather. It had aided in easing my stress and clear my thoughts. I have also a couple of getaways lined up in the next coming months which I am totally looking forward to.
