End of the Year (2019) Favorites

Featuring my favorites for the second half of the year!

Time does fly so fast and 2019 is now ending in a few days’ time. 2019 has been really wonderful for me, accompanied by a few of the things I loved for the 2nd half of the year. Also, I tried not to repeat the stuff I featured for my mid-year faves as I have continued to love them until the end of this year as well.

Skincare/ Haircare

  • Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil

This cleansing oil melts your makeup amazingly. I totally love how this removes the eye makeup, especially the mascara I’m currently using that won’t budge with just cleansing water, plus it’s really gentle too.

  • Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel

Exfoliation has been part of my skincare routine as it helps get rid of dry skin and fade acne scars. I only do this once a week as over exfoliation is also a no no but this product has been really helpful.

  • Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

As Fall passed by and with Winter now, my skin became really dry but with this, and my body cream over it, it has helped keep the moisture of my skin.

  • Nature Republic Argan Essential Deep Care Shampoo & Conditioner

My hair has been through a lot his year, I had it permed in Seoul and dyed in Cebu, hence it has been damaged but ever since I have been using these hair products, these have helped nurture my hair and it doesn’t look so dull anymore.

  • Foreo LUNA Play Facial Cleansing Brush

I get the hype for Foreo products as they truly serve for what they promise and this LUNA Play has been with me wherever I go and all throughout my different travels. It made my cleansing routine even better.

  • COSRX One Step Moisture Up Pad

I’m in love with this Moisture Up Pad from COSRX! I mostly use this as a toner but also as a makeup remover whenever I travel which comes in really handy rather than bringing bottle of products with me, plus it keeps my skin moisturized.

  • Some By Mi AHA, BHA, PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner

This toner promises to make miracles on your skin and I saw how it worked. It has helped in the reduction of breakouts plus fade acne scars. I’ll definitely continue using this product.

  • VT Cosmetics Cica x Hyalon Cica Hydration Essence

I have written a review on this product as I am very pleased with the results it has given me. Centella Asiatica is one of the ingredients I swear by, this essence has become one of my holy grail skin care products and a staple in my nighttime skincare routine. It has kept my skin calm but hydrated at the same time.

  • COSRX Hydrium Centella Aqua Soothing Ampoule

Another product with Centella Asiatica as main ingredient. This ampoule has been with me to all the cities I’ve been to this year since I discovered it. It does help with lightening the redness on my face, fade acne scars and keep my skin moisturized.

  • VT Cosmetics Cica x Care Spot Patch

This patch has been the best out of all the spot patches I have tried. It just sucks the gunk out of a spot and when you wake up the next day, that spot has evidently reduced in size already.

Makeup/ Fragrance

  • 3CE Stylenanda Back to Baby Pore Velvet Primer

I have combination skin and during the summer months, it can tend to be really oily but with this primer as base, it helped mattify my skin but not dry it out.

  • VDL Lumilayer Primer

Another base that I have been reaching out for since Autumn started. As I have said, I have combination skin and it can also be dry during the colder season so I tend to change makeup base with the season. I love how my skin seem to glow whenever I use this product.

  • Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder

This has become my favorite brow powder and I’m not switching anytime soon.

  • Sunnies Face Airblush in Doll

This is the only blush I’ve been reaching out for lately as it is very creamy and buildable.

  • Sunnies Face Fluffmatte in Milkshake

The fluffmatte is a creamy matte lippie that isn’t drying on the lips even without lip balm on, making it one of my favorite lippies.

  • YSL Volupte Tint-in-Balm in (9) Temp Me Pink

I can totally live with just this lip product. I usually apply lip balm over lip stick but on lazy days, I just grab this out and swipe it on my lips. It is a lip balm but it has a lovely, vivid color.

  • Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick Rouge Sculptant in (260) Eccentric

I’m into hydrating lippies as it gets colder by the season. This lippie has been one of my best friends and is always in my handbag whenever I’m out. It is the perfect mlbb shade as well.

  • Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte in (507) Dram’atic

This isn’t a color I would usually reach out for but I have been really liking it ever since I got it. I usually have this one for night outs with my friends.

  • Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia

I love Jo Malone and whenever I go travel to a new city, I usually purchase a Jo Malone Cologne as I tend to associate the city I’ve been to with a cologne. This beautiful floral scent reminds me of how sophisticated Paris is.

  • Jo Malone Tropical Cherimoya

A limited edition cologne I got from Florence. Yes, this reminds me of my amazing time in Florence. I also love how floral and fruity scents are mixed with this scent, it’s truly sweet.

  • Jo Malone Honeysuckle & Davana

A very sweet scent to make me reminisce my very sweet time in California. It is one cologne I have been eyeing for months already and finally got one on my way to San Francisco.

  • White Puffer Jacket from Pink Platinum

This has been my go-to coat during my trip in California as their weather can be a bit confusing. It can withstand the cold but still light for sunny days in San Francisco.

  • White Blazer from Renesmee

This has been seen in a lot of my look books during my Europe trip. From Paris to Prague, this blazer just gives character to my outfits.

  • Blue Striped One Piece from Chlo.D.Manon

I wore this dress when I attended the London Dessert Festival and I really love it. I received so much compliments for this dress as well. It’s really pretty.

  • Pink Floral One Piece from My Fiona

Featured in my Prague look book, this dress has been one of my total favorites.

  • Black Knee High Boots from New Look

I got this last year but I saw myself using these boots from Autumn this year and will definitely do so for the Winter.

  • Beige Ballet Flats from Butterfly Twist

My favorite during the summer as it goes well with any outfits plus I can take this with me anywhere as it is foldable.

  • White LA Cap from MLB

I got this cap in Seoul but I was also able to wear this in LA. This has been my go to cap, especially during my trip in California.

  • Straw Hat from H&M

I have been wearing this during the summer, most especially during my trip in Cebu and whenever I go to the beach.

  • Fuchsia Handbag from Aldo

I just love how much I can fit in this handbag plus it’s really cute with my usual outfits as well.

  • Hydroflask Water Bottle

A water bottle that can keep your drink warm or cold for a long time, something I would totally need when I’m at work.

  • The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k by Sarah Knight

A life changing book that made me learn a lot of lessons. A must read!

  • TWICE Feel Special Album

It’s not new that I love TWICE but this album is also really good and it’s been on repeat since it came out.

  • BT21 RJ Plushie

Everyone knows how much I love BTS and their cartoon characters, BT21. RJ is my favorite character and I have been getting a lot of RJ stuff this year but this plushie is extra special as it’s a gift from my favorite human, my fiancé.

  • Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares

I love me some chocolates, especially when they’re Ghirardelli. I had a lot during my stay in California and even brought this box of goodies from there.

  • Maltesers Spread

I usually just have coffee and bread for breakfast and this Maltesers Spread has been a breakfast favorite.

  • Chips Ahoy! Reese’s Cookies

I recently discovered this while I was in San Francisco and ever since then, I have been munching on these. Oh yes, I gained a lot after my recent trip in California.

  • Ranong Tea 3 in 1 Matcha Green Tea Latte

Matcha is my ultimate comfort food and this green tea latte is what I usually have every after work. Even my friends know it and they got me a few of these.

  • Europe Trip

I have been to 5 cities in Europe this year, Paris, Prague, Venice, Florence and Milan. All of which are breathtaking and memorable.

  • California Trip

Another trip I would never forget. A trip I only thought would happen in my dream but has finally come true. (I’ll be posting a summary of this trip early next year!)

  • NCT 127 Neo City The Origin in London

NCT 127 is a group every kpop fan should watch out as they performed breathtakingly during this concert.

  • Monsta X We Are Here in London

This is my second Monsta X concert and they are a group I really like. This concert would be my favorite this year as well. I had a blast and everything was just amazing.

  • Stray Kids Unveil Tour in London

Stray Kids is the group to watch out for. They are awesome performers and I had a lot of fun during this concert.

  • London Dessert Festival

I love desserts so this festival was like heaven for me. I’d definitely love to go again next year.

  • GOT7 Keep Spinning Tour in London

GOT7 is a group I have been wanting to see and finally, it has happened. Keep Spinning Tour in London happened and it was great, every minute of it.

  • Lauv: How I’m Feeling in London

Lauv is one of the few western artists I listen to and seeing him perform my favorite songs live was a surreal experience.

  • KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball

During my trip to California, I managed to score tickets to KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball to support my favorite guys, BTS, as they were the opening act. It was also amazing to see different artists perform.

  • The most beautiful event that happened in my life this year!

A little spoiler but it will be revealed early next year.

Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
