A roundup of how amazing my 2019 has been!
Time flies so quickly, it’s crazy. 2019 is ending in a few hours’ time and I couldn’t help but recall everything amazing that happened to me this year. Now, I’m going to share the best 9 photos to sum up how awesome my 2019 has been.
2019 started off good. I have to say that I think I have adjusted better with my life here in the UK this year. London has been my sweet escape. It is a place to remind me that I should be thankful of the life I have and also a place to let me know that I need to work harder to overcome all the challenges thrown and will be thrown at me.
My first holiday this year was in Seoul, South Korea. I had been dreaming of visiting South Korea the longest. I spent late Winter to early Spring there. I fell in love with the place that if possible, I’d love to visit every year.
Did you say homesickness? Yes I had it and it was the biggest struggle I had to face this year. It wasn’t easy that I lost the most weight I have ever lost for years. Everyone around me even recognized it and I didn’t like it. It was the sign for me to go back home. Then, I had the best time catching up with my siblings, they are my treasure. They mean the world to me. Family will always be there for you no matter what and I realized that.
Summer this year, my travels have started. My first European stop should be Paris and it was granted. A week in Paris wasn’t enough. I had such an amazing time that I’m coming back early next year.
I learned loads of things this year but there are still a lot of things to learn, a lot I say. Challenges appear here and there and I know I become stronger every time. How do I cope? Travelling! This trip to Prague during the summer was so refreshing that it helped to relax my mind.
With travelling, I get to gain a lot of things. From memories to reminisce, to learning different cultures, it just blows my mind. Venice is one of those places I didn’t think I’d be able to visit but I did and this memorable moment happened this year.
Time is of the essence and if you want things to happen, you’ve got to work hard to make it happen. This is one of the things I always keep in mind. My one day trip to Milan reminded me this and it is a very beautiful city.
Dreams do come true. This is what I tell myself each time I see my photos of Florence. Florence is such a gorgeous city that it made me tear up, no bluff, it’s for real.
Four years ago, I listed my dream travel destinations. This year, I made it happen one by one. I have ticked not only the top 3 but the top 4 in this travel bucket list with a total of 7 cities in this list visited. My last travel this year was in California and it was a great decision to keep it last as the best thing that happened to me this year took place here (I can’t wait to share it to you soon!).
2019 has been amazing and I couldn’t be any more grateful. This year is ending with my heart full. Thank you to everyone who made this year even more meaningful to me. Thank you for accompanying me all throughout the year. I can’t wait to spend and share more good years with you! Happy Holidays!
