CAFÉ SERIES 22: The Terrace by L’Opera

A mini jungle in the middle of the city serving lovely coffee!

With the cold season here, I have been attracted to cozy coffee shops. The latest one I’ve been to meet a friend for a catch up is this little oasis in the center of the city. Located in the heart of South Kensington, you’ll also be drawn to The Terrace by L’Opera.

The Terrace by L’Opera is known as a slice of oasis paradise. With a tropical themed interior that will surely suit all kinds of occasions. A leafy oasis paradise with boho vibes, the interiors are dressed to impress in lush tropical plants with gold finishing touches.

They have an al-fresco terrace where you can have a relaxed brunch. But with winter incoming, the indoor patio is also lovely. They even offer board games and card sets you can play with. They are open until 11pm in case you’re looking for something to eat late at night.

They offer a Mediterranean inspired all day menu. Savoury or sweet, there will be something for you. Their delicious cakes are freshly baked and hand delivered everyday by their in-house patisserie chefs. Their menu even contains over 50 soft drinks, from artisan flat whites to indulgent freak shakes.

Starting with savouries, I and my friend got ourselves a mezze platter with halloumi fries, halloumi cheese, hummus and pita bread. The servings were just right and were very tasty. For drinks I got a pistachio latte which was really good while my friend got a regular latter. To finish with desserts, we got a pistachio cake, a ferrero crepe and some tea. I loved the crepe and the cake was nice as well. The service was good. Apart from being aesthetic, the greens and the giraffe surrounding me made me smile, it was really cozy. Also, they have a lot of seating.

I would definitely come back and maybe to try their best selling flow cakes next time. You’d definitely love the vibes here!

Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
