Spreading that positivity with some matcha!
Matcha never fails to put a smile on my face, although it can sometimes give off a hint of bitterness, it usually neutralizes to sweetness later on. It is not new anymore, especially in this series, how much I am into matcha cafés and one of my recent favourites in London is, Jenki.
Jenki is located in Spitalfields Market, it’s a great place where you can get your matcha fix. I love the minimalistic interior and how the place just screams matcha.

Jenki came from the Japanese term ‘Genki’ which meant the life force within us. They’re all about spreading that positive spirit. They get their matcha straight from the foothills of Uji, Japan.

The shop also offers a variety of food and drinks in their menu, even some decaffeinated drink alternatives. They even have a fridge where you can get some vitamin boosts and superfoods from. Matcha pastries like mochi and cookies are also available.

I got an iced oat matcha latte while my friend got herself an iced chocolate with oat milk. For snacks, we got a matcha cookie, matcha snickers and some peanut butter + chocolate squares to share which we absolutely enjoyed. My personal favourite were the matcha cookies, of course.
For real good matcha, I would definitely recommend Jenki!
Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
