Paris will always be a good idea! Here’s my Paris travel diary!

For the last week of January, I went to Paris with one of my good friends. We stayed there for barely 4 days. It wasn’t that long but just enough to introduce one of my favorite cities in the world to her.

We travelled via the Eurostar and we arrived in the city late in the afternoon already. Our hotel was close to Gare du Nord which came in handy as we still had time to go around a few sites that were nearby.

One place that I failed to visit during my last Paris trip was Moulin Rouge. We didn’t technically go inside but just had a peek of it from outside which I thought was enough.

We then followed it with a delicious dinner with good pasta with some escargot as entrée. The 4 cheese pasta that I had was heavenly good.

We ended the night with an amazing night view of the Paris skyline by Sacre Coeur Basilica.

For the next day, we spent it at Paris Disneyland, which was the main reason why we visited Paris.

Being in Disneyland just makes me forget about all of my worries and problems. Being there makes me feel that life is stress free.

I got to go on more rides and see more Disney characters this time. Although, some attractions and rides were closed, maybe because of maintenance but I still enjoyed it very much.

This was my first time to go to Walt Disney Studios which made me even more excited for this trip.

Disneyland never failed to make me happy.

The third day was our last full day in Paris as we’ll have to leave early the next morning going back to London. It was a day spent out exploring Paris’ famous sites.

Our day started by watching the sunrise at Trocadero, with a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower.

We then dropped by shortly for some snapshots with the Arc de Triomphe. We had a little walk at Champs-Élysées but most of the shops were still closed as it was still a little early.

We then took the metro heading to Palais Royal and Jardin du Palais-Royal. It had started raining which made me sad but time is precious and I’m not in Paris everyday so I thought we have to spend it wisely.

As promised, I went back to Café Kitsune Palais Royal to have their matcha latte which was so good with a Kitsune shortbread. It was a while since I’ve had a really good matcha latte so my mood instantly lifted up and things became brighter for me despite the gloomy weather.

Our day continued at the Louvre Museum. This time, I had more time to appreciate the artworks showcased there. Being there was really refreshing for me. It helped me relax as well.

The rain didn’t stop so I thought of another place where we could spend the rest of our day and it was at Galeries Lafayette.

We also had the chance to try the best macarons I have ever had yet, one of Paris’ best, Pierre Hermé Paris. They also offer unique flavors that you’ll absolutely love.

Our stay in Paris wrapped up with the night time view of the Eiffel Tower and we watched as it sparkled as another hour strike.

We also had a very sumptuous dinner with some delicious French food. We had Entrecote aux champignons and Bœuf bourguignon which was both so good, I had no words but I can’t wait to go back to Paris and have them again.

It’s only my second time in Paris but you will expect me to be going back again and again to this beautiful city. Well, as per Audrey Hepburn, Paris is always a good idea!

Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
