Good vibes only for 2019!
Raise your hand if you still get it wrong when you write the date. Do you still write ’18 instead of ’19? Well, I’m raising both my hands up. I still get the dates wrong, and if you’re like me then I’m not blaming you! 2018 passed by so quickly!
My 2018 was amazing. It started with me taking on a challenge of starting a new life here in the United Kingdom. Things weren’t easy, I was scared but I didn’t let that fear take over but instead embraced everything that came into my way and learned a lot of things.
In 2018, I also got to travel a lot, not really outside the UK though but the adventures I had were all memorable. If I was still back home, then I wouldn’t be able to do a lot of the things I have done last year. I met a lot of people too, whom I’m very thankful for as these friends eventually became my 2nd family away from home. Third, getting to experience a whole different culture totally broadened my vision in life which helped me a lot.
We’re now in the beginning of 2019 and it has just sunk into me that a new year has already started! People would usually make a list of resolutions. But I’m not the type to make resolutions as these are only good during the start of the year. Instead, as a fresh start of the year I’d love to continue what I have started. Given new chances to work hard on the same dreams I have always had, stronger and bolder.
I know a lot of good things are going to happen this year too. I can’t wait to share those things with you as this year goes through. To those who stayed with me and are still with me, waiting patiently for my entries in this little diary, thank you, thank you, thank you! I can’t be more grateful to you.
