Matched two bold & bright colors ‘coz why not?

Growing up, I was usually reminded not to wear two different bold colors. If you were wearing a bold colored top then you should pair it with something that will neutralize the color below. You can’t combine two bold colors in one outfit.

Things have changed already today and I’m pretty much thankful for that. I can wear two bold colors at the same time. Yet, I still live with people who never fail to scold me about my fashion choices, but hey, things have changed now. There are still no no’s, granted that you go by the rules.

Last week, I went out for a walk and some brunch with my sister matching two pieces in different bold colors I usually wear but never pair. I wore this laced white blouse paired with this royal blue skirt. In contrast to blue, I opted to bring my current favorite bag, this fuchsia pink shoulder bag from Aldo. I actually didn’t hate it. Well, the white blouse was able to balance everything out. Also, since I wanted to just relax, I opted to wear some sandals to finish everything off.
