I love COSRX products so much, I got another COSRX mini haul with various products I’ve been wanting to try. That includes this Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser. This product has so much great reviews online that I had so much expectations from this. However, this is the first COSRX product yet that I haven’t given a perfect score for my rating. No doubt that this is one great product but I’m not a fan of the smell, good thing it isn’t that strong. Well, I have never been a fan of the smell of tea tree. Also, I expected this to help prevent pimples from appearing and reappearing on my skin. This didn’t prevent them BUT this did speed up the healing time of those pesky pimples. This also helped keep sebum at bay, and was able to remove old dead skin cells, some blackheads and whiteheads. This has a pH of 9.0 – 9.5 which is really high (the ideal pH level of a product is 5.5 so as to not damage your skin) so from using it twice a day I reduced my usage of this to once a day, usually at night time. In spite that this is great for all skin types, this can also be drying, I guess that’s the nature on how this was able to prevent clogged pores and troubles, so for those who have already dry skin, don’t rub on the skin for too long. Nevertheless, I liked this product. I have noticed much improvement on my skin since I have started using this. I can see myself repurchasing another tube!
