Product description: Matte Me is a matte finish liquid lipstick that glides on in one smooth application, with no need for a second coat. This has a light as air texture which is comfortable to wear for hours. This doesn’t cake, flake or dry out, ensuring long lasting color all day.

Volume: 6 ml in a clear tub with a doe foot applicator

Color: Sleek Makeup’s Matte Me liquid lipsticks are available in 12 shades (only 6 shades are available in The Philippines though). I got the Birthday suit, which is a wearable everyday nude rosy beige.

Scent: This doesn’t have a particular noticeable smell.

Texture: It finishes off matte (as the name of the product), almost powdery.

Ingredients: Dimethicone, Hydrogenated styrene Isoprene copolymer, Ceresin, Silica, BHT, Propylparen May Contain: TITANIUM DIOXIDE/CI77891 RED,IRON OXIDE/CI77491YELLOW,IRON OXIDE/CI77492 D&C Orange NO.5\CI45370:2 D&C Red NO.6\CI15850:2

Directions: Apply with precision using the applicator provided or with your finger tips evenly, layering colour and intensity as you go. Part your lips, and gently blot using a tissue to remove any excess.

Effect duration: This lasts a decent long time, about 5-6 hours without eating and drinking but needs retouches after eating and drinking.

Sleek Makeup, a famous high street European makeup brand has reached the Philippine shores late last year. This had been much raved in the country ever since then especially this lipstick line. I got this 2 months ago for my birthday (this review’s a little late too but it’s better than never! Lol!). This isn’t my first nude lippie but I’m totally digging the nude pink shade this gives which is perfect for everyday use plus it’s very light weight. I expected this to last longer without getting patchy but it did came a little low on that side. This gets a little patchy the longer this stays on your lips which isn’t good for those with dry lips, given that this has a matte finish though you can always moisturize your lips before each application. There are a lot of similar products as this in the market as well but what I love about this is that this doesn’t need a second coat and it’s pretty comfortable to wear. Considering the price, I think this is a pretty good product.
