Wear Pink for October!
As a Nurse, I have seen a lot of women suffer from Breast Cancer. It is devastating to see innocent women suffer from this incurable disease. Yes this is preventive but not everyone has the resources to do so. It is much more saddening when you know you couldn’t help these innocent women and the number 1 reason for a delayed treatment is because of financial issues. Let’s face it, when you’re living in a 3rd world country you wouldn’t deny the lack of medical advice due to financial crisis.
Breast Cancer Awareness is a campaign I support wholeheartedly. You don’t need to go to the extent of giving donations. Just wear anything pink, on Wednesdays, or any day of the month of October. This campaign supports victims of Breast Cancer and their families through the development and improvement of Pink Science, an approach taken to look for methods of curing cancer, and somehow emotionally with some support groups. So expect me to post stuff with hints of Pink for the month of October!
As a supporter, I have started with wearing pink though did some lazy dressing with this pink button down top which I borrowed from my brother (yes to borrowed from the boys!), paired it with just shorts and peep toe pumps.
