Tabléa Chocolate Café

When in Cebu, Tabléa is the hangout to be!

One of my favorite hangouts when I was still in college would definitely be Tabléa Chocolate Café! Whenever I have this craving for chocolates, I come here. They used to have a branch located near the university I was studying at. So whenever I want to be alone or with a friend, if I want to study or read a book, or have a chitchat with friends, while satisfying my chocolate cravings, this is the place where I would be.

Tabléa Chocolate Café was inspired by its principal ingredient, tabléas (tableyas), these are pure cacao beans that are dried, roasted, ground and then formed into tablets traditionally used in the Philippines to make hot chocolate. Here, you can find food variations in which this key ingredient is being used, from a variety of hot chocolate, frios and a wide selection of snacks and desserts, not to forget traditional Filipino snacks like champorado and puto maya.

Whenever I get to visit a branch, I always have their Champorado Special and the Chocolate Con Churros. They’re my favorites! They also have a variety of products for pasalubong and mixes you can use at home! Tabléas are unsweetened chocolate tablets so whenever I visit, I’m guilt-free!

P.S. I love their silvanas too! I brought a box home! They have branches in Ayala Center Cebu, JY Square Mall and Mactan Cebu International Airport, Departure Area. Whenever you get to stopover or even stay in Cebu, Tabléa Chocolate Café is a must visit! You can visit their website here too: Tabléa Chocolate Café! What do you think?
