Always going back to mono!
Monochrome is anything executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one color. As you can see, I have dedicated the month of August for my love of black and white. I am in love with monochrome and I can get a little minimalist sometimes.
Monochrome has been a fashion trend ever since I could remember but was made big, or yet has made a comeback last year, appearing in the runways and fashion magazines. I am more of the basics kind of girl and when I can’t think of anything to wear, I always go with my monochromatic basics. Ever since I have learned that monochromatic pieces help me look taller (Yes, being short and having a small frame is a struggle! I sometimes wish I was taller!), there has been no stopping me from donning my favorite black and white pieces. Keeping it minimal makes those monochromatic pieces shine too.
That day when I was too tired to glam up and just can’t think of anything to wear, I opted to go back to mono! I wore an ivory cropped top from Mags, paired with those black waist high jeans and finished it off with a pair of white wedges. I also have my favorite off white Guess bag. What do you think?
