Character Mask

The most fun addition to your beauty regimen!

Skincaretainment is the new trend these days, most especially when it comes to Korean beauty. It is skin care and entertainment in one. It is defined as ‘skincare that gives a fun and exciting entertainment experience’. In line with this trend are beauty products that lets you have fun while doing your daily beauty regimen. Character mask sheets and the now trendy lace mask sheets are a few of these.

I recently purchased these The Face Shop’s Character Mask Sheets. I was attracted to them, not only because they’re on promo but also because of the cute animal designs. The mask sheet literally looks like the character seen outside of the packaging, hence you’d automatically look like the animal on it when applied.

Looks aside, these aren’t mask sheets for nothing. These also serve as what they are made to be. The grey mask sheets (with Panda, Sheep, Tiger, Fox and Dragon faces) are used to hydrate while the white mask sheets (with Cow, Monkey, Pig, Puppy and Zebra faces) have more specific functions, you can see them written outside the packaging, like brightening, elasticity, nourishing, etc.

The Character mask sheet delivers rich moisture to dry and flaky skin with Hyaluronic acid and Collagen. Formula without 4 additives (Mineral oil, Sulfate, Talc, Polyacrylamide). These have great amount of Panthenol too, which is great! The white mask sheets have specific ingredients for its certain properties. The directions say wash face and apply toner. Pull out the mask and carefully place on face. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes and tap lightly to absorb the remaining essence into the skin. They smelled like lemon too and the remaining essence isn’t sticky when applied to your neck.

I loved how my skin felt after applying these mask sheets and the morning after as well! My skin felt rejuvenated. I didn’t get any untoward reactions, like zits. Plus these are on buy 3 get 3 for the whole month of August in all The Face Shop branches here in PH.

Now, applying mask sheets wouldn’t be boring anymore plus they’re selfie worthy too! What do you think?
