The VT Cica x Hyalon Cica Hydration Essence is a very lightweight, calming essence that absorbs easily and gives your tired, dull skin a boost of energy. It has a fresh light, moist formula that promises to protect your skin by hydrating, soothing and moisturizing your skin. It locks up moist in your skin but still balances the oil/moist level.
I have been wanting to try this line since it came out last year so I decided to try this essence when I ran out of the ones I used to have. This essence was also one of the latest releases this year from this line so I was pretty excited to use it. I was more eager to try it out as Cica, short for Centella Asiatica, is the main ingredient of this line and it’s the skincare ingredient I swear by the most. This Hydration Essence is really true to its promise. You’ll think it is quite thick when you pump the product out from the bottle but as you spread it on your face, you’ll feel how lightweight it is. It is also moisturizing enough that you may not need to follow a moisturizer after this product but I still do so as I’d like to lock up all the moisture from the products I use with a cream moisturizer. It is also advised to apply this 3-5 times, I usually just do 2-3 layers and it is already wonderful. After almost a month of use, I can notice my skin to be more calmer, the breakouts isn’t as bad like before anymore; and more moisturized even with the regular exfoliation I do. I’d definitely recommend this product not only for those who have sensitive skin and suffering from breakouts as this is perfect for all skin types, but for those who want an extra boost of energy.
