This popular cushion from Hera has been out in the market since last year and has already been deemed by a lot of influencers as the best cushion so I gave in to the hype and gave it a try, also, this was my first Hera product. Was it worth the hype? Definitely! The coverage is awesome! This can give off from medium to high coverage. As you can see in the photos below, I swatched a liquid eyeliner and a matte lipstick at the back of my palm. I then applied the first, thin layer of the cushion and it has almost covered the lipstick already. Then after a few more, about 3 layers of the cushion, it has covered up the lipstick.

I tried this cushion with it alone for about 2 days then with primer and setting powder. It does last more with primer and setting powder but it isn’t bad at all even without both lasting products as it can last for 10 hours for me. It has a semi matte finish which isn’t drying at all. This is perfect for those with oily and combination skin like me but is good for all skin types too. This is also very lightweight even with multiple layers, speaking of, this is very buildable as well. For the brightening factor, you can see it in point features of the face that needs to be brightened like the tip of the nose. Also, I saw that this as base made my blush and highlighter last longer than any other base makeup products I’ve used before.

So why didn’t I give this a perfect score? I have a slight problem with this, just very little though. At the end of the day, I could see this creasing on my under eye area but this isn’t something that can’t be fixed with a few dabs of the cushion puff.

I’m in love with this cushion and I’ll surely get another one when the refill runs low!

Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
