Introducing to you my style icons!
Everyone has their style and fashion icons, from whom they draw inspiration from, to create their own style. I listed down 7 of my style icons, the people who help me generate ideas for my everyday style. I never fail to check out their Instagram posts and/or blog/vlog posts to know what’s in and what’s not to wear. I’m actually thankful to know these amazing and fashionable women because in the long run while I was following them, they have helped me discover my own personal style.
Here are my 7 fashion inspirations:
• Emma Watson
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t know this beautiful Brit. Emma Watson is just the epitome of real sophistication even when she’s just wearing casual clothes. Imagine my happiness when she made an account (The Press Tour) dedicated to her outfits which consists of eco-friendly pieces. I have always admired her ever since I was young not only in the fashion department but as a person as well.
• Jessica Jung
The second place would definitely go to Jessica Jung, yes, the former Girls’ Generation member. Her everyday style is something anyone would love to copy. Her style leans on the quirky, casual side but she never fails to amaze everyone with the way she can carry herself and make a simple outfit look sexy and elegant. I’m still wishing to get my hands on some pieces from her own fashion line, Blanc & Eclare.
• Tricia Gosingtian
Tricia Gosingtian of Tricia Will Go Places would definitely be my favorite Filipina blogger. She was one of the few who inspired me to start my own blog. She usually opts to wear the more relaxed and comfortable pieces but whatever she wears it just spells out kawaii.
• Jenn Im
Clothesencounters is one of the first youtube channels I subscribed to. I have always admired Jenn’s passion and how she makes her everyday outfit very wearable by her viewers. She can be wear casual and laidback one day and be cute and preppy the next day.
• Kim Jones
Kim Cam Jones is another blogger I adore. This Australian beauty has always amazed me with her fashion choices, no wonder, she has caught the attention of huge fashion designers. You may not wear everything she wears but she can definitely inspire you to put your own twist to her own fashion choices. You should definitely check out her blog, Miss Jones for inspiration!
• Choi Sooyoung
Choi Sooyoung of Girls’ Generations, yes, another Korean and a girl group member at that but she will definitely blow you away. Apart from being my favorite GG member, she is also another style inspiration who is very versatile. I somehow wish I was as tall as she is to be able to cop her looks but she somehow gives me ideas that despite my height, I can still rock similar outfits.
• Aimee Song
Last but not definitely not the least, Aimee Song of Song of Style. Aimee isn’t uncommon to anyone who loves fashion. I have always admired her bold choices. These are pieces that you can actually wear without worrying if you can slay them or not.
