The skincare you would need for the New Year!

2016 was an innovative year for skincare. Korean beauty was huge last year, with a lot of people following the Korean skincare trends and creating their own 10-step skincare routine using Kbeauty products. This year would be a better year for Kbeauty skincare yet people would be keener already.

Here are a few skincare trends that would still be hit by 2017:

• Cleansing Balms
Different cleansing products were big last year and will still be this year yet, there would be more alternatives. Aside from cleansing balms and oils, cleansing balls would also rise. I’m thinking of purchasing some cleansing balls to try out but I’m still loving my Holy Grail cleansing product which is the Banila Co. Clean It Zero in Purity.

• Toner Pads
Toner and exfoliating pads were all over social media last year. Neogen and COSRX rose to fame last year because of their toner and exfoliating pads. My favorite would still definitely be COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pads and I’m planning to try out COSRX One Step Moisture Up Pads.

• Acids
Acids have proved their effectivity last year and these are seen to be widely use this year. Acids replenish your skin and fight the skin troubles you’re experiencing. I’m currently loving the COSRX AHA7 Whitehead Power Liquid and the COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid. I can totally see myself purchasing another bottle when I run out of stocks.

• Masks
Convenience at its best! Different masks were developed the previous year and would still continue by this year. I love sleeping masks like these Innisfree Recipe Capsule Sleeping Packs, like how much I love my sheet masks.

• SPF
Sun protection would always be a must! Having some SPF in your base makeup isn’t new but SPF would also be found in other products this year just like Lip products with some sun protection and even concealers or other products with SPF.

With Kbeauty being a huge hit and leading the makeup and skincare department, one should be more careful since double downs would spread and counterfeits would rise. Also, people would opt to use natural products but not all natural would mean it’s all good and safe.
