Cafés I love visiting when in Brighton!
Brighton is a must-go for me during the summer. I make sure to visit atleast once or even more every year. One thing I love about being in Brighton is you get to see the best of both worlds, as they have all those quirky and cute shops in the town centre; and enjoy and relax by the beach. Brighton is also known for their café scene with a lot of independent coffee shops around which actually make amazing coffee. Yes, I’m talking about grinding their own beans and making them fresh for you. It’s no joke here. As a café lover, I already have a few faves to visit in the area. Here, I’m going to list 3 of them.
My Fave Cafés in Brighton:
Oeuf.
Oeuf is a café based in Brighton & Hove offering breakfast, brunch, local coffee, local tea, cocktails and wine.

The exterior is already inviting, what more the interior. It truly is very pretty and cosy where you’d love to have brunch or even some mimosas by midday. One thing I love about being here is the friendly service and the amazing food.

Speaking of amazing food, they offer quite the selection on their menu. It’s important to note that they source their food locally and it is guaranteed that everything served is fresh.
During my latest visit, we had an Oeuf. & Surf and Sticky Honey, Sriracha Chicken for sharing with lemonade and pineapple juice for drinks. The serving was good and everything tasted amazing.

This is one café I’d make sure to always go back to whenever I’m in the area.
Artbox Café
Just ‘coz being featured once here is not enough. Artbox Café in Brighton is a unique Japanese cartoon–themed venue offering imaginative desserts & snacks, plus coffee & shakes.

Downstairs doubles as an ice cream shop and a gift/souvenir shop. While upstairs is the seating area all decorated according to theme. The latest theme was Hello Kitty and Friends which I was so happy about.

Food wise, they offer mostly ice cream and drinks for take out downstairs while a good balance of savoury and sweet choices are available upstairs. Be sure to book a seat if you plan on visiting as it gets packed and you wouldn’t want to be standing on a queue outside.

For my last visit, I just fancied some desserts, so we got the Kuromi’s Cheeky Choco Brownie with 2 milkshakes. It was truly a nice treat during a hot summer day.

I’m definitely coming back to check out the next concept!
Workshop
Workshop is a shop and café based in Brighton which was started with an honest desire to re-engage with people, community, land & nature. Once you go inside, the coffee shop and its seating area will welcome you.

Workshop values place + purpose and curates goods that embrace simplicity, slow-living, sustainable practice and connection. Their wonderful curations will definitely catch your attention as everything is aesthetically presented.

They offer coffee, tea and some pastries you can enjoy.
I got an iced americano and my friend got an iced chocolate.

This is the vibe I always enjoy. Simple living at its best!
Hope you can get to visit one of these cafés soon when in Brighton and enjoy the experience being there like how I always do.
Be pretty, be happy, be you! H~
